This was the first time we’ve explored Zion in March. Utah had a pretty epic snowpack this year but we got lucky and even The Narrows trail was open – the runoff hadn’t quite started.
We love camping in the Zion area. It’s worth trying to time it during the shoulder season (March/April or September/October) because crowds won’t be as bad. To find our campsite, we used the iOverlander app to find us a spot off the beaten path. It’s proven to be a reliable tool that we find ourselves using often. The campsite views we had on this trip were insane!
