Ever since Stella was a baby, we’ve taken her out in the waves on our boards. She’s had years of training in Hawaii, and would catch waves, but wasn’t ever quite ready to stand up. When we went surfing in Morro Bay, CA, Stella declared she was ready. It must have been the freezing cold water?! Bryan fearlessly took her out beyond the break and got her ready. She rode wave after wave, giggling, having the best time with her daddy. Her body was probably completely numb, but she was still grinning from ear to ear. On one of her final waves, Stella stood up and rode it all the way in. Yeah girl! We’re so proud of you Stella, for trying new things and being brave!
