Tip for the beach: Pack extra snacks and sweatshirts because believe me, you’ll want to stay until sunset! If you’re really on it, pack or grab dinner for the beach and eat picnic style while the littles run wild and free. It’s a favorite of ours!

This beach is called Big Beach, or Makena, and is a must see while on Maui. Big beautiful stretches of sand and crystal clear water. Lifeguards patrol this beach which makes it safer for swimming, but there is a shore break that can get pretty crazy. Bring a boogie board, skim board, or volleyball and you’ll have hours of fun!
