When we were invited to stay in Pismo Beach at The Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa, I knew we were in for something really special. Our room greeted us with beach buckets filled with goodies for the kids and a breathtaking ocean view. Our suite had a full kitchen which I always love to see when we’re traveling. There’s nothing quite like a homemade smoothie or egg cooked exactly how you like it. We did also test out the room service (verdict: amazing) and the onsite restaurant (verdict: incredible).
One neat thing about the Pismo Beach area is that it is a little warmer than its surrounding cities, making it more comfortable to walk around in a sundress. The area is also protected from most the wind as well. The kids loved exploring the tide pools at the nearby beach – it’s so close you can easily walk to it from the resort. After watching her older siblings, Aria learned how to dive to the bottom at the resort pool. She was giggly excited about her new skill. Big moment and we are so proud of her!
